4th day
From the nature to the Sin City
I spent the night at Ruby s Inn a family run hotel/motel gift store complex at the entrance of the Bryce Canyon. The family moved here in the 1920s, when there was nothing yet only some farmers spread around. They ve got the land almost free and lived for some years as simple dairy farmers. One their neighbors Bryce brought into their attention that there is a useless but quite nice hole on their land. Indeed it was nice and the family liked it so much that they started to invite friends and relative to visit it. The next year they made a camp with 2 tents along the rim. That I show it is started. Today it is one of the most famous and visited NP s of the US with millions of visitors 3 Best Western Hotels several motels and gift stores on the still family run property.
I started my day quite early with a hike down to the bottom of a canyon. The red rock formations had a really impressive color in the light of the rising sun. personally I like this canyon much better than the Grand Canyon, because you can feel it really close, when hiking on its narrow paths. In the summer you can get around also on horses, which should be really nice.
At noon I left the canyon and was heading to Las Vegas the Sin City. It was quite a change to arrive in the still fastest growing city of the US. Its population is already far over 2 million and growing 20000 a month. There are new casinos with 3-5000 rooms each opening their their doors to gambler every year.
I stayed at the Flamingo on my first night an old stylish casino on the new section of the strip, just across the Belagio. It is crazy how can be everything so packed with gamblers and visitors in the middle of a financial crisis. The hotel occupancy rate is still well over 80% in the city, which is unique in the world. You can not only play roulette here, but also visit one the 16 Michelin Star restaurants or one of the 5 paralelly running Cirque du Soleil shows not to speak about the Night Clubs. There are other shows running all the week like Celine Dion, the Blue man Group, David Copperfield etc.
In the casino I stayed there was by chance a Burlesque show running for example. Las Vegas vented after the success of the X factor, X-file, X-man and Triple X, the X girls a show with a very interesting group of girls. They like each other very much and like to play i.e. tease each other a lot. I thought so because they were all the time quite close to each other and playing role plays like the girls in the kindergarden. Once they thought to be flight attendants and when they ve got bored they played schoolgirl or nurse/doctor and also made gymnastic interestingly not on a horizontal but on a vertical pole. At the end , when they were sweat of all playing, they even got a bath together helping each other to wash of all the dirt of. I found it a very interesting concept of making friends with each other that way.
Tomorrow it is business day, so be prepared and follow me on my trip.
5th day
I am following the property market of the city for quite a time and I am convinced, that this years might be a good opportunity to invest here. So if there is somebody reading this and would be interested in a joint “adventure” don t hesitate to contact me....
I went today with a realtor to visit some highrise condo-hotel on units on sale. Prices dropped more than 50% of since their peak in 2007. You can have for example a 58m2 unit in Trump for 200K USD or for 150K USD at MGM. I was really amazed by the quality of the suites and not to speak of view out of them. So I decided to start save money for it...:)

After yesterdays Flamingo I stay today at Luxor for an amazing 55USD a night. Just look at my room and the view down from the corridor. Those buildings down there are real ones.
As a farewell from Las Vegas pls see some icons and trends
Imagine how difficult it is to concentrate on gambling when you have to see this.
Because of the heavy circumstances above I did not gamble at all during the 2 days I spent here.
Tomorrow I ll leave early and hit the road to Salt Lake City, 450 miles north.
