After a hard working day from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. including a short outing to the outdoor store in The Hague and a nice chat with some colleagues and the morning cofee with some croissants. I left with tram to Den Haag HS and than to Amsterdam. Since there is going to be no electricity on the yacht,I had to buy a power unit to be able to charge all my gadgets. That is why I had to have the unexpected visit to the outdoor store in the last minute. I bought a 4400mAh, unit wich should be enough for a while.
After arriving in Amsterdam I took a bus to the ferry terminal in Ijmuiden, where I boarded at 5 p.m. and we took anchor at 6 p.m.
Although it is not a big ferry, there was a good entertainment and real american steak on board.
I also had my first sunset on see, which helped me to shoot some 200 pics already on the first day. We sail at a constant speed of
21 knots direction Newcastle, where we expected to arrive at 10 in the morning. I hope to take a nice sleep now...
