Finally we left Newcastle first in the morning of the 6th of June. In the first couple of hours we had really nice
headwind and were sailing at speeds up 9-10 knots. It happened as well, what I was a bit afraid of; I´ve got see sick and were close to vomit, but my pills saved my life...:)
In the afternoon it started raining and the wind calmed down that much, that ocasionally we had to start the engines in order to keep a minimum speed. According to the GPS plotter we have 2 days and 1 hour to sail to the Shetland´s.
The crew is splitted in 3 shifts changing every 3 hours. Our teams first shifts were from 6p.m. to 9 p.m. and during the night from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. I´wrote this lines just after finishing my night shift, so I go to sleep now, because the next shift is waiting at noon.
